Our own website and the systems we build run on Next.js, React and TypeScript. Pages are prepared on the server, so they appear on screen quickly. Because everything sits on the same modern foundation, an improvement in one place helps everywhere right away.
We host on our own servers in the Netherlands, with Kubernetes. Every change is tested automatically and rolled out step by step. If something goes wrong, the previous version is back in no time, and if something drops out along the way, the rest picks it up.
Our data lives in PostgreSQL, with copies in several places and an off-site backup every night. We change the database in small steps, so an update never breaks anything midway.
Our platform is connected to the services we use every day, such as accounting, payments, telephony and email. Changes arrive instantly and a fixed check catches whatever was missed on the way. That way nobody has to retype data.
Access is a deliberate choice for us. Signing in always requires a second factor or a passkey, internal systems are shielded, and we keep passwords and keys encrypted, with a log of who looked at what.
We measure speed, we don't guess. Our systems are monitored continuously and we track the speed of websites on mobile and desktop. If something slips, we usually see it before anyone else notices.
